We ensure that our operations are governed in accordance with the principles of transparency, compliance, accountability and fair conditions.
Our compliance structure, Corporate Social Responsibility Policy and Code of Ethics are the cornerstones of who we are. They provide the framework for the prevention of corrupt practices, bribery and money laundering. They also reaffirm our commitment to the promotion and protection of human and labour rights in all our operations.
This sets out internal guidelines that guide our conduct and decisions toward ethical and transparent practices.
We generate economic development through our drive to create jobs, entrepreneurship opportunities and support for our suppliers. In addition, we work with communities on economic development actions and offer our customers opportunities to make savings.

“Mucho Que Contar”, a tribute to our local producers
With this campaign, we aimed to reinforce the benefits of local consumption, raising awareness of the effort, tradition and care that go into each food item.
Convenience and quality
Choosing local producers means selecting food that is grown and produced near our shops, ensuring freshness and the consumption of seasonal produce.
Job creation
We promote decent working conditions between us and our suppliers through social clauses included in contracts and the dissemination of our Code of Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.
Support and visibility for our women suppliers
We promote the visibility of local women producers through forums such as Mujeres Rurales and Mulleres dos Mares, recognizing their role in agriculture and the maritime sector, and supporting their contribution to a more sustainable and equitable economy.
